This event is OPEN to the community!  Must have prior knowledge to attend tournament play!

For the purpose of this tournament and social play, we will operate in a sense of grace and fun with a reminder that the purpose of our event is solely to raise money to contribute back to the Sumter Community through the SJWL grant program. 

• For Tournament play you must sign up in pairs. As long as ONE member of the two-person team goes Mahjong, BOTH members of the team advance to the next round.

• Tournament will be single elimination, and all participants will move to social play when eliminated. Tournament will follow basic NMJL rules. All sets will have 160 tiles. No hands will be declared dead. All Mahjong lines will be inspected by "referee" after each round.  ***2025 NMJL card will be used due to unpredictable disbursement of the 2026 card.
